Pop-In@Nordstrom ¡Viva México

Mexico is a country of creative visionaries. This Pop-In—open, not coincidentally, over the country’s Independence Day—was yet more proof. Our aim was to present the work of Mexican designers and artisans in a way that was reverent, not reductive, and go in-depth with a handful of them along the way.

I worked closely with our friends at the Mexican consulate (translation: we swapped a lot of emails and Google Docs) to execute the bilingual storytelling that extended to every touchpoint: the immersive site, the interviews with selected designers and artisans, the brick-and-mortar buildout … In doing so, we created spaces, both digital and physical, where even more felt welcome.
