Memphis Milano Pop-Up Shop

One part exhibition + one part 😱shopping opportunity = Nordstrom’s Memphis Milano pop-up. While the group’s furniture and wares were displayed at our flagship Seattle store, we had a companion experience on the site that served as a primer on the movement and an introduction to our online gift shop—an exhibition guide, of sorts.

I researched the major Memphis Milano milestones and conducted interviews with founding members Peter Shire, Nathalie Du Pasquier and George Sowden, as well as principal distributor Keith Johnson, to get new perspectives on the collective and the people behind it.
